Portland Affordable Commercial Tenanting Grant
Who can apply
- Small businesses
Property owners and small businesses negotiating affordable leases in the Interstate Corridor or Gateway Regional Center TIF districts. Minimum three-year lease and specified rent concessions; owners must meet at least one displacement, limited-capital, first-generation or income-area criterion.
About this grant
Reimburses tenant improvements, related soft costs and permitting that help local businesses occupy ground-floor storefronts. Awards depend on lease concessions, project cost and community benefit.
