Who can apply
- Small businesses
San Diego commercial occupants with 25 or fewer employees, street-facing premises and a valid business tax certificate. National franchises and recent recipients are excluded. A refundable $250 deposit is collected after approval.
About this grant
Rebates cover half of standard costs up to $8,000, two-thirds for historic restoration up to $12,000, or half for qualifying multi-tenant projects up to $16,000. Promise Zone projects receive an additional 30% of the approved reimbursement.
