Details from the funder
US residents owning at least 51% of a for-profit business with 3–20 employees, including owners and contractors, and less than $5 million annual revenue. Owners must be honorably discharged veterans, current National Guard or Reserve members, or military spouses. The business must be in an economically vulnerable community or demonstrate hardship outside the owner's control. Industry and franchise exclusions apply.
About this grant
Four businesses receive $10,000 each and one receives $25,000. Selection considers community leadership, local economic contributions and business success. Apply through Hiring Our Heroes and provide ownership, military-service and business verification if selected.
