- Small businesses
U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents with qualifying technology and scientific experience. Ventures must have raised no more than $2 million in non-government debt or equity over the preceding three years; a cooperative research agreement is required.

Entrepreneurial fellowship for energy and advanced manufacturing founders. Support includes a $115,000 annual living stipend, health insurance, professional development and cooperative laboratory research, for up to two years subject to review and funding.
