Knoxville Historic Preservation and Facade Improvement Program
Who can apply
- Small businesses
Owners of eligible vacant or underused Knoxville properties whose projects meet city development and facade guidelines. Historic projects require appropriate designation or eligibility. City approval and an executed development agreement must precede work; awards over $10,000 require a surety bond.
About this grant
Reimbursement for approved historic preservation and facade improvements, subject to available funds and a negotiated development agreement. The guidelines do not set a universal award cap.
