Who can apply
- Small businesses
Businesses with fewer than 250 employees, principal operations and more than half their workforce in Maryland, and an initial federal Phase I or II award received within the preceding six months. Industry exclusions and annual/lifetime award limits apply. Recipients must maintain Maryland eligibility for two years.
About this grant
State grants match up to 25% of an initial federal SBIR/STTR award, capped at $25,000 for Phase I or $75,000 for Phase II. Apply through TEDCO's online portal; grants support Maryland business operations and commercialization.
