Who can apply
- Small businesses
For-profit companies registered in South Carolina with their principal business location or at least 51% of full-time-equivalent employees in the state. Active SCRA membership and a qualifying federal award with initial project data are required. At most two grants, tied to separate federal awards, are allowed.
About this grant
SCRA matches up to 50% of a federal commercialization award, capped at $50,000, with preference for SBIR/STTR recipients. Funds support commercialization milestones and follow-on funding preparation; salaries, rent, debt, legal and licensing fees, and reimbursement of past expenses are excluded.
