Utah Rural Employment Development Incentive
Who can apply
- Small businesses
Jobs must be in eligible rural counties or qualifying small communities, be full-time, last at least 12 consecutive months and pay at least the county's average wage. Employee work location and rural residency affect the award. Businesses primarily engaged in construction, retail, staffing or public utilities are excluded, and prior program approval is required.
About this grant
Utah REDI provides grants for qualifying new jobs in rural communities. Support can reach $6,000 per new position, with a maximum of $250,000 per business each year. The program announces quarterly application windows.
