Ohio employers of any size and industry that are registered with the Ohio Secretary of State, have a physical non-residential business location in Ohio, and employ Ohio-resident W-2 employees reported to Ohio unemployment insurance. Public entities are not eligible. Small employers are classed as 1-50 employees.

About this grant

Reimburses Ohio employers for training current or prospective employees to earn approved technology-focused, industry-recognized credentials. Awards are up to $1,000 per person per credential and up to $30,000 per application, using approved training providers. Training must start on or after the first day of the application period and finish within 12 months.
