Who can apply
- Individuals
Painters, sculptors and printmakers with at least ten years of mature practice who lack resources after an unforeseen catastrophic incident. US and international artists are eligible. General debt, unemployment, chronic problems, capital improvements and planned projects are excluded.
About this grant
One-time financial help after a specific emergency such as fire, flood or an urgent medical event. The foundation reports a typical award of $5,000 and a maximum of $15,000. Applications require evidence of professional practice and the emergency.
