Who can apply
- Small businesses
Hawaii companies developing exports of Hawaii-produced goods or services. New-to-export applicants may seek up to $5,000; active or recent exporters entering new markets may seek up to $15,000 and should have at least $200,000 in annual revenue. Businesses funded in the same category for three consecutive years must sit out one year.
About this grant
HiSTEP Company Assistance supports export market development such as trade shows and missions. It has separate funding categories for new exporters and businesses expanding their export markets. The agency has announced advance registration for 2027 while grant applications remain unavailable pending funding.
