Who can apply
- Small businesses
For-profit, export-ready Louisiana businesses operating for at least one year, meeting SBA small-business standards and operating profitably. Applicants need an export strategy and goods or services of U.S. origin or at least 51% U.S. content. Intermediaries and businesses recruiting foreign investment do not qualify.
About this grant
Louisiana STEP reimburses 90% of eligible export development expenses up to $10,000 per company. Supported costs include trade shows, trade missions, export training, federal commercial services, international marketing and compliance testing. Businesses must apply before undertaking the planned expenses.
