Details from the funder

Global competition for founders distributing an existing, evidence-based poverty intervention. Most recipients are first-time entrepreneurs launching new organizations. Organizations with more than 18 months of full-time operations or more than $30,000 raised are generally not supported. Existing organizations qualify only when distribution of a proven poverty intervention is their core focus.

About this grant

D-Prize runs global competitions about twice a year and provides up to $20,000 to launch organizations distributing proven poverty solutions. Applicants submit a two-page concept note and resumes through the application packet; shortlisted teams complete further written questions and interviews.
